What is there to do in Amsterdam South? If you get the chance to see a performance at The Royal Concertgebouw, we definitely recommend it. The building is world famous for its highly regarded acoustics. In April 2013, Queen Beatrix bestowed the Royal title to the building to mark its 125th anniversary. The Royal Concertgebouw is considered one of the finest concert halls. The Van Gogh Museum houses the largest collection of Vincent van Gogh pieces in the world. The museum is a must see when you visit Amsterdam. You will also find the luxurious P.C. Hooftstraat, numerous fine restaurants and the famous Vondelpark in this part of town.
