Vegan Hanami Omakase: Gourmet vegan at Taiko
Asian fine dining restaurant Taiko at the Conservatorium Hotel presents a special vegan Omakase menu this month. The 9 courses are both a feast for the eyes and a feast for the taste buds. With it, Chef Schilo van Coevorden elevates plant-based dishes to a level never before seen in Amsterdam.
Taiko is an ode to Asian cuisine. Here you go for a culinary experience with beautiful dishes, surprising flavors and exceptionally good service. And all under the watchful eye of celebrity chef Schilo van Coevorden. The basis of the menu is Japanese cuisine and this has evolved over the years through influences from various cuisines from around the world. Still with classic preparation methods, pure ingredients and seasonal products.
Taiko Vegan Hanami Omakase
Chef Schilo van Coevorden gave free rein to his creativity and created a vegan hanami omakase menu as an ode to Japanese spring and cherry blossoms. This has resulted in 9 dishes with exciting flavors that are without a doubt the finest in Amsterdam. Be quick though if you want to experience this culinary highlight. You can order the menu for €85 until the end of July.
"At Taiko restaurant, we love experimenting with vegetables and herbs. Spring is the perfect time to put pure and simple vegetables in the spotlight. There are so many vegetables at their best right now that we are only too happy to give them a stage." said Schilo van Coevorden
Opening hours
Taiko is open Monday through Thursday from 6:30 to 10:30 pm. On Friday and Saturday, it is open from 6:30 to 11:30 p.m.
