The Roode Leeuw reopens after restyling

Since 1911, Hotel & Brasserie De Roode Leeuw has been a household name in Amsterdam. After a more than two-year renovation, we can visit it again from now on. Both the menu and the famous conservatory as well as the interior of the restaurant have been taken in hand, promising to become the new hotspot of the center.

The Roode Leeuw's major makeover makes it lighter and fresher, with a Parisian touch. Dutch dishes are still served on the now white marble tables. No mother's stew but Dutch Haute Cuisine. Refined dishes such as beef breast with sour, scallop with tangerine and skate wing with parsnips and tandoori onions will surprise the taste buds. Local and daily fresh products are used as much as possible, and you can taste that!

The restaurant is open from breakfast to dinner, and you can even go there for drinks at the bar.

The stately Overhoeks Tower, next to the EYE Film Museum in North, will be transformed into an entertainment venue in the coming years. In addition to a revolving restaurant, two clubs and a hotel, the former Shell office will have a sky bar with a panoramic deck at a height of 80 meters, offering a great view of the city. A crowd puller that should soon easily rival other highlights in Amsterdam in terms of visitor numbers. Until then, you can...
