Renewed city beach Strandzuid is open
The completely renovated Strandzuid is ready to welcome Amsterdam this summer. The city beach with beach bar, restaurant and large waterfront terrace is open again. Enjoy the sun on the terrace or beach beds with specialty beers and upscale snacks or opt for a sumptuous lunch or dinner in the restaurant.
As of today, we can once again visit Strandzuid, one of Amsterdam's finest city beaches. After several years of renovation, the site is finally completely finished. Sunbathing, BBQing, drinks and extensive dining; you can come here all day long. The tastefully decorated pavilion and terrace gives a vacation feeling in your own city.
The Beach Bar and Restaurant
At The Beach Bar you can easily get drinks, snacks and bites from the BBQ from the beach. At night, the bar is a perfect place for drinks with colleagues or friends, and there are regular dances. The restaurant with its spacious terrace is the place to go for extensive lunch or dinner. The menu has something for everyone, From International fish and meat favorites to vegetarian & vegan dishes.
Opening hours
Strandzuid is open all days of the week from 11 a.m. to midnight.
