NENI Amsterdam opened in the Citroen garage
After the completion of the redeveloped Stadionplein and the arrival of restaurants Mama Kelly, Bar Alt, Vascobelo, De Drie Graefjes, Het Amsterdamse Proeflokaal and Het Vlaamsch Broodhuys, Zuid has a new culinary square. And as if all that were not enough, NENI Amsterdam recently opened in the former Citroën garage.
NENI is a true family business consisting of mother Haya Molcho and her four sons Nadiv, Elior, Nuriel and Ilan. Hence the choice of the name NENI, which comes from the sons' initials. NENI's menu is an ode to Eastern Mediterranean cuisine. Think mezze, hummus, flatbread pizzas, kibbeh, falafel, shawarma, babaganoush, several richly topped focaccias from the oven and lots of charcoal-grilled vegetables and fish.
With the arrival of top restaurants to the redeveloped Stadionplein, Amsterdam Zuid has a new hotspot for good reason. In the area around the Olympic Stadium, every culinary wish will be fulfilled.
NENI Amsterdam occupies several floors and is divided into a restaurant, bakery, cocktail bar and terrace. At the Lemonman Bar on the 2nd floor of the iconic former car lot, sip cocktails and enjoy the view of Stadionplein.
In addition to Amsterdam, you will find NENI in Tel Aviv, Berlin, Hamburg, Munich, Cologne, Vienna, Zurich and Mallorca.
