Anyone who thinks training your buttocks is boring hasn't tried The CLB's workout. The studio works with a follow-the-trainer format where the trainer is literally on a stage, surrounded by lights, heavy beats and a glitter ball that completes the scene. No separate treadmills or silent stretching room: here, the atmosphere is part of the workout.
The idea behind The CLB comes from June Sier, who set up pop-ups in hotspots such as Jimmy Woo, Chin Chin Club, W Amsterdam and A'DAM Toren to perform her conceived workout. These are not places where you just set up a gym class, and that says something about how seriously the concept was taken from the beginning. Some years back, The CLB was acquired by the Urban Gym Group where it is now part of the Trainmore gyms.

Amsterdam's first permanent studio opened in 2022 at TrainMore Oost: 150 square meters, fully decorated with glitter ball and sparkle styling. Small, but just right for the format. A flagship on the Singel in the city center followed in 2023, a lot more prominent in the cityscape.
No loose treadmills or silent stretching room: the atmosphere at The CLB is like being in a club.
The CLB is now in four cities: in addition to the two Amsterdam locations, in Rotterdam, The Hague and Utrecht. But it all started in Oost, in a 150-square-meter space that proved you don't need a huge studio to put up something that stays. The catwalk and glitter ball fit anywhere where the music is loud enough.
