Walk into Anook Bakehouse and you immediately see what it's all about: small loads of freshly baked desserts and cakes, made by owner and chef Julia Wirichs. She is an American-German pastry chef who has been running her own bakery cafe here since 2023, with a clear focus on quality rather than mass.
The counter is full of cakes, cookies and other pastries, all baked small-batch so everything goes into the display case as fresh as possible. Among the sweets are also vegan and vegetarian options, from donuts to other baked goods. The idea is that everyone at the table can find something, whether you come for a full cream pie or prefer to eat plant-based.

The coffee here is as serious as the cake. Specialty coffee takes center stage: you grab a good cup and find a seat in the café area of the bakery. The space is deliberately set up as a cozy corner, a “nook,” where you linger for a while. The interior was designed by HOP Architects, who created a warm and intimate setting, with plenty of seating areas for a quiet chat or to get behind your laptop.
The coffee here is as serious as the cake.
Thus, Anook Bakehouse has become more than just an address for coffee and cake: it is a neighborhood spot where small dessert batches, specialty coffee and creative evenings come together in one compact bakery-café corner.
