Bioto's plant listener allows visitors to experience biodiversity on the rooftop plaza of NEMO Science Museum in a new way. The sensor measures real-time environmental factors such as intensity and color of sunlight, air temperature, humidity and soil moisture and links this data to the biodiversity present on the roof. In this way, we gain more insight into the relationships between plants, animals and people, and nature becomes tangible. After all, why does a plant do well in a specific spot?
