IDFA International Documentary Festival
Every November, the International Documentary Film festival takes place in Amsterdam, the largest documentary film festival in the world, featuring the very biggest and newest documentaries every year.Ten days of watching on immersed in a diverse array of documentaries, all with the goal of inspiring.
The finest documentaries are again this year specially selected for the international documentary film festival IDFA. Starting November 20, documentary lovers will enjoy twelve days of the best and newest documentaries from around the world. IDFA seeks documentaries that are cinematically interesting or innovative, that are relevant to today's society and that cause the viewer to think, discuss and ask questions.

The International Documentary Film Festival Amsterdam is the largest documentary festival in the world. Every autumn in November, the area around Rembrandtplein is taken over by thousands of docu-lovers. More than 250 documentaries are screened, many of which have their premieres at IDFA. There are also talk shows, great parties, workshops, music programs, awards shows and various other activities every day.
