Chin Chin Club Dinner Show: Your dining table turns into a dance floor after midnight

In the basement of Rozengracht 133 in the Jordaan neighborhood, the evening flows seamlessly from a four-course meal to a dance party, without you ever having to leave your seat. That’s the Chin Chin Club Dinner Show. Asian cuisine, live performances, and then the tables are pushed aside.

In the Jordaan neighborhood, there’s a basement where you go in for dinner and don’t leave until the club closes. Chin Chin Club is that kind of place: a multi-room venue where a dinner show, cocktail bar, karaoke, and nightclub all coexist under one roof. Every Friday and Saturday, the evening starts at 7:00 p.m., and the transition from table to dance floor is so seamless that you barely notice it.

Behind the concept are Kaihan Paryan and Danny Lee. Together, they developed a concept in which the space itself transforms as the evening progresses. After the final course, the tables are pushed aside and the dining room turns into a club, with guests simply staying put. The regular show features Amber Vineyard, who performs with four showgirls between courses. Madam Vineyard and Lóló von Dyk serve as hosts and ensure that the evening never slows down.

The space itself is a basement level filled with separate rooms: a hall for the dinner show, a cocktail bar, a karaoke room, and a nightclub. Throughout the meal, cocktails appear at the table as if they’d always been there, and surprises in the dark are part of the experience. It’s deliberately theatrical, but never at the expense of the food.

After the last course, the tables are pushed aside and the dining room turns into a club, with guests simply joining in.

Chin Chin Club is within walking distance of the Anne Frank House, right in the heart of the Jordaan. The building at Rozengracht 133 doesn’t give much away from the outside, but the basement below stays open well into the night. For those looking for an evening that defies categorization: dining, shows, dancing—all in one place. The tables may disappear, but you don’t have to go anywhere.
