Deer Mama: Vegan Mylk and Burger bar in the Pijp area
Vegan restaurants are popping up like mushrooms. Our new favorite in the Pijp area is Deer Mama. For silky smooth mylkshakes, good burgers, amazing cakes and more goodies!
One look at the menu and we were sold. In addition to their now well-known mylkshakes and burgers, the lunch menu features all kinds of pastries, donuts and sandwiches. How about the Me So Peanutbutter Sandwich with miso and avocado or the Fancy Pants Pancake Stack with fresh fruit, pecan crumble and agave syrup?
At night, both vegan and non-vegan burger lovers gather at Deer Mama. Two favorites are The Beyond Millionaire with faux grass and truffle mayonnaise and The Pulled Mush with coleslaw and fried onions. But all the side dishes are also worth tasting. For example, they have Fried Boneless no-chicken, Super Nachos and Vegetables with herb butter from the BBQ. Not to mention the Boozy Mylkshakes. The Almond Gold, for example, with vanilla, turmeric, baileys, vodka and whipped cream. Go taste it.
