Authentic Thai flavors at Bird restaurant
Bird has been a household name on the Seafront for years. This is where you go for authentic Thai food and friendly fast service. The flavors there are just like in Thailand, the prices good and the location ideal as the start of a night out.
The Thai restaurant Bird is now a staple on the Zeedijk. Since 1998, this has been a favorite when it comes to Thai cuisine and is usually full every night. The interior is authentic and the service fast and friendly. Not for nothing have they won multiple awards for Best Thai in Amsterdam.
On the map at Bird
The menu features typical dishes from different regions of Thailand. For example, they serve specials from Chiang Mai, Phuket, Bangkok and Isaan. Everything prepared with authentic ingredients and extremely full of flavor. From Pad Thai, to Tom Yam soup, vegetarian wok dishes and different kinds of curries that combine deliciously with meat, shrimp or fish. They have it all. You may have to wait in line for a while before getting a table, but the food at Bird is worth the wait.
Tip: For a quick bite, you can also go across the street. The Bird Snack Bar offers small dishes to eat there or take away.
Opening hours
Bird is open from noon to 11 p.m. every day.
