Vondelpark Open Air Theatre to reopen soon
With the sun showing up regularly again and the city slowly warming up, Amsterdammers are once again flocking to the parks en masse. Traditionally, the Vondelpark Open Air Theater opens its doors every summer for another summer of surprising performances and concerts. Every Friday, Saturday and Sunday you will find musical performances, dance, cabaret and youth theater on the open-air stage.
The Open Air Theater in the Vondelpark is the hotspot of the summer. Every weekend you will find special performances of music, theater, dance and cabaret in the green heart of the park. Free shows and concerts by famous artists and young talent.
Program
For over thirty years, residents of Amsterdam have been able to attend free outdoor performances in the Vondelpark. Famous names and newly discovered talent share the city's most beautiful stage. This summer you can look forward to performances by the likes of Kita Menari, Trijntje Oosterhuis, Jean Macrooy, De Partizanen, Het Nationale Ballet, Tim Knol, Martijn Koning, Kasper van Kooten, Anne-Marie Jung, Julidans, Dolf Jansen, Roxeanne Hazes, Kenny B, Fresku, Dio and many others. All performances are free of charge.

Famous brewer lands in Vondelpark this summer
Since its establishment in 1985, it has been impossible to imagine Amsterdam East without the artisanal Brewery 't IJ. Located next to the original windmill De Gooyer in Oost, it has now become an icon of the city. This summer, 't Blauwe Theehuis in the Vondelpark will be transformed into a tasting room of the famous brewery in collaboration with Renato's Pizzeria.
