A lot is also going to change in Doka's program. From now on, the night program has been renamed Doka Studio. On Fridays and Saturdays, "selectors & diggers" are invited to spin uncompromising sets. Given the limited capacity, the DJs will not have to concern themselves with keeping hundreds of dancers moving, but will be able to exhibit the depths of their record cabinets. Musically, Doka Studio can best be described as warm, organic, contemporary and quirky. Because Doka Studio strives to create a special sound experience, the quality of the sound is more important than the volume.
Daytime party
Every month Doka Studio also opens its doors on Sundays during the day for daytime parties from 13:00 to 23:00. For this it collaborates with Broedplaats VKG, located in Volkshotel, which is all about experimentation and about creativity.
Doka Live
In addition to the DJ program, Doka also offers space for live music. The idea behind Doka Live was born to offer VKG Broedplaats musicians and bands as well as other local acts a stage in Amsterdam. Doka Live will be the place where you can get acquainted in an intimate way with new interesting alternative acts that you won't easily encounter anywhere else.
