This summer, the Rijksmuseum is presenting a selection of sculptures by Lee Ufan in its freely accessible gardens. The eleventh exhibition in the Rijksmuseum gardens will introduce you to the Korean artist's first solo exhibition in the Netherlands.
Lee Ufan will display nine iconic works from the Relatum series, which he has worked on continuously since the 1970s. Seven works will be installed in the gardens surrounding the museum and two sculptures will have a place in special locations in the museum. With these sculptures, Lee Ufan experiments with what he himself describes as the "Art of Encounter. The minimalist works offer a moment of calm on Museum Square.

The outdoor exhibition in the Rijksmuseum Gardens is free to visit daily. Want to learn more about Lee Ufan and his exhibition? There are several entry-level tours in June. Check out the website of the Rijksmuseum for more information.
