Discover chefs and cuisines at Taste of Amsterdam
Traditionally, the first weekend of June is dedicated to Taste of Amsterdam. From Friday, May 29 through Sunday, June 1, the Amstelpark will be transformed into a culinary wonderland where Amsterdam's best chefs and restaurants will serve the public with their world-renowned signature dishes.
Taste of Amsterdam is Amsterdam's ultimate "foodie playground." Famous top restaurants such as ARC by Lute, among others, Ron Gastrobar Indonesia, Yamazato, Serre, Bar Fisk, Baut, Nut, Pikoteo, Smokey Goodness and The Harbour Club will collectively serve 100 dishes. The chefs will serve scaled-down versions of their "signature dishes" so you can enjoy multiple dishes from different restaurants.
Chef's Table
After the great success of last year, Taste of Amsterdam is organizing a Chef's Table with well-known chefs again this year. Among others, Edwin Vinke**, Luc Kusters*, Jaimie van Heije, Alex Haupt and Dennis Huwaë will provide a 3-course lunch or dinner for 30 guests.
In addition to tastings from Amsterdam's best, cutest and most talked-about restaurants, there are workshops, tastings and cooking demonstrations. And all over the festival grounds you will find a diversity of wine bars, beer cafes and coffee bars. The new cocktail bar Super Lyan provides the cocktails.
Taste of Amsterdam is a summer party for culinary foodies in one of Amsterdam's most beautiful parks.
