On Sunday, May 19, you can get a taste of the Kwaku Festival, which will start in July. From 2 p.m. you can visit the Vondel Open Air Theater for delicious food, music and traditional Surinamese clothing. Expect Javanese cuisine, Caribbean barbecue and Surinamese dishes. From delicious sandwiches, noodles and fried rice, to roti and stuffed barra. Live music will make sure you can't stay still all day long and there will be plenty of entertainment for the little ones. Now hope for the sunshine!
