The annual festival Komm Schon Alter in West Gardens is for people who are past the fast-paced, young club scene. The age limit of 24 is not an afterthought but the core of the concept. It determines who stands, what the dance floor feels like and what is expected from the music.
Komm Schon Alter's musical focus is on melodic house and techno. Sets are built slowly, with room for melody and dynamics over long periods of time. International and Dutch artists alternate. The programming is not focused on quick highlights but on an evening or day that works as a whole.
The program for the Komm Schon Alter festival includes performances by Stephan Bodzin, NTO, Eelke Kleijn, Miss Melera, Andhim, Einmusik, Olivier Weiter, Mees Salomé, Sluwe Vos and Sandrien, among others.

Gardens of West
The annual festival in Gardens of West is the highlight of spring for many dance lovers. The green setting of the venue is part of the formula: the combination of outdoor air and long melodic sets gives it a different rhythm than a club night.
The programming focuses not on quick highlights but on an evening or day that works as a whole - that's what distinguishes Komm Schon Alter from a regular club night.
Indoor sessions
In addition to the festival, Komm Schon Alter hosts indoor sessions at venues such as Westweelde and Paradiso, and is a regular presence during Amsterdam Dance Event. At the indoor sessions, Komm Schon Alter works with multiple spaces, each with its own atmosphere - from a large main room to a smaller, intimate space and a place to recover without letting go of the music altogether.
