The leaders of the Dutch hospitality industry will gather at Theater Amsterdam on November 30, 2026, for the 19th annual Entree Awards ceremony. This event, often referred to as the “Oscars of the Hospitality Industry,” is the premier venue for celebrating the craftsmanship of new establishments and passionate professionals. Ruben Nicolai will serve as master of ceremonies this year and guide the audience through the program. With a 55-meter-wide projection screen as a backdrop, fifteen awards will be presented to the very best in their fields, ranging from Best Bartender and Best Barista to Hospitality Entrepreneur of the Year.

Selecting these winners is no easy task. An independent panel of 22 experts—comprising experienced hospitality entrepreneurs, skilled chefs, and astute trend watchers—determines who takes home an award. This comprehensive judging process ensures that the recognition the winners receive is rooted in craftsmanship. After the awards ceremony, all nominees receive a digital jury report filled with insights that are truly useful to them in practice. The organization behind it all is Entree Magazine, a media brand that provides hospitality professionals with news and inspiration year-round through its platform and print publications.

Theater Amsterdam is the perfect venue for an event of this scale. The location on Danzigerkade in Westerdok offers 5,500 square meters of space, spread across four flexible halls. The waterfront terrace provides a space for networking throughout the evening. The decor is sleek and spacious, reflecting the professional atmosphere that Entree Magazine strives to create. Guests are expected to dress in cocktail attire, which contributes to the event’s festive yet professional ambiance.

Once the awards have been presented, the party moves to Club Entree for the afterparty. Here, it’s time to raise a glass to the successes of the past year. Photographer Pim Ras, along with Chantalle Laurent and Ivo Geskus, captures the evening for posterity. It’s the evening when entrepreneurs and chefs take a moment to reflect on the impact they make every day. This year, the winners will once again be honored, just as they should be in an industry that’s always on the move. For every entrepreneur, a nomination is a recognition from peers, making the evening a highlight on the hospitality calendar.
