MOCO Museum is putting its exhibitions on the theme of the "rockstars of art. After Andy Warhol and Salvador Dali, starting in November it is the turn of the most famous pop-art artist Roy Lichtenstein (1923-1997).

The American artist was at home in several art disciplines. From ceramics to glass and steel. But worldwide fame came to Lichtenstein mainly for his highly recognizable paintings consisting of primary colors such as red, blue and yellow, and grid technique. With his enlarged comics, he made people look at reality differently. A reflection of his view of (consumer) society.

In addition to Roy Lichtenstein, you can visit MOCO Museum for art by street artist Banksy.
