The Rijksmuseum holds the largest collection of works by Rembrandt in the world, including some of his most famous works, such as The Night Watch and The Jewish Bride. Recently, the museum acquired the spectacular wedding portraits of Marten Soolmans and Oopjen Coppit, making its collection of paintings even more complete.
The masterpieces and numerous lesser-known drawings give the viewer a complete overview of his life. The exhibition offers a unique view of Rembrandt van Rijn as an artist, storyteller and innovative person. The exhibition highlights different phases of his life and the use of different themes. The Rijksmuseum is open daily from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. throughout the year.
