Markt Centraal is the first new occupant of the Central Market Hall in the Food Center Amsterdam. This multipurpose stage is located in a national monument built between 1932 and 1934 to replace an open-air fruit and vegetable market. Architect Nicolaas Lansdorp designed the building with a practical layout, beautiful proportions and plenty of symmetry. The preservation of this monumental architecture was recently completed with a thorough restoration.
In this atmosphere, Market Central exudes history and connection. The environment is not cold or distant, but rather cozy and stylish. The festive ambiance encourages visitors to connect with each other. This makes it a place where you come not only to eat or drink, but also to enjoy music and art.

The program is diverse and rich in cultural events. Concerts regularly take place here, while tattoo, music and art jams also contribute to the creative climate. Collaborations with various organizers, such as Cycle Fun Productions, enhance the offerings and social dynamics.
