Located in a distinctive building on the Singel, Two Story opened its doors in 2025. It is a versatile venue where art, design and hospitality come together over two floors. Designed by Atelier Axo, the interior exudes an atmosphere reminiscent of the southern French coast, with a relaxed and inviting feel that makes visitors feel like they are at home.
The ground and second floors feature carefully selected artworks by emerging artists, which change regularly through exhibitions. Visitors can not only view the art, but also take away parts of it, as the gallery also functions as a design store with custom-designed furniture pieces and accessories. This custom-designed furniture enhances the unique look of the building and the presentation of the art.
In addition to the store and gallery, the initiators opted for a café concept serving coffee and meals. This makes the place more contemporary and accessible, while maintaining the initiative's cultural character. The Natural Emergence exhibition recently launched, with guided tours offering depth to the works of new artists on display.
