The festival offers visitors a unique opportunity to discover the versatility of chocolate. More than a hundred stands introduce you to a variety of flavors and textures. An important part of the festival is the "Pairing Square" where chocolate effortlessly combines with wine, whiskey, and even cheese. Co-founder Jack Steijn explains how these combinations add a new dimension to the taste experience, "We want to show that chocolate is as layered and versatile as wine." In addition to the countless flavors, music and entertainment provide an extra layer of experience.

"By tasting and combining, visitors discover how rich cocoa really is."

With events like the Chocolate Festival, Amsterdam once again shows itself as a center for sustainable cocoa and the broader cocoa industry. Participants are committed to short, transparent supply chains, ensuring that every chocolate tasted tells a story about origins, craftsmanship and sustainability. All this comes together during Amsterdam Cocoa Week where the festival offers an accessible weekend program for many a chocolate lover.
