Pllek is more than a restaurant; it is a place where city and beach come together. An experience that takes you away from the hustle and bustle, without leaving the city. Built from old shipping containers and recycled materials, this special location exudes sustainability and creativity. The beach-like decor, combined with industrial elements, makes it a unique hotspot where Amsterdammers and visitors come together.
Pllek's kitchen is open all day and offers a conscious, largely organic menu. Here everything is about ‘feel good food’: dishes that are not only tasty, but also sustainable and responsible. For example, no less than 75% of the menu consists of vegetarian options, a significant portion of which is vegan. Meat and fish are carefully selected and come from animals that have lived in the wild. As a result, you not only enjoy quality here, but also contribute to a better world.

What really sets Pllek apart is the constant stream of cultural activities. Throughout the year you can enjoy live music from all over the world, creating a dynamic and international atmosphere. Films are also regularly screened in the open-air cinema and you can participate in yoga sessions overlooking the water. Festivals, art exhibitions and creative events complete the offer and ensure that there is always something to do.
“At Pllek, Amsterdam briefly feels like a beach destination - a place where taste, culture and freedom come together by the water.”
