Amsterdam Summer has become a familiar name for anyone who loves Dutch-language sing-alongs in a large setting. Since around 2020, the Olympic Stadium has been transformed into a concert arena several nights a summer, especially for Dutch-language pop and party artists.
In 2026, the concept returns with three editions in one weekend: on July 3, 4 and 5. The program revolves around live performances by popular Dutch-speaking singers and bands, with much emphasis on singing along and recognizable hits. This year there will be performances from André Hazes, Bente, Tino Martin, Gerard Joling, Jan Smit, Kriss Kross Amsterdam, Jeroen van de Boom, Emma Heesters, Yves Berendse, Mart Hoogkamer and Xander de Buisonjé

The setting plays as hard as the music. You're in an iconic sports stadium, with rows of seats rising all around the stage. This allows you to see the stage well even from the higher rings and hear the whole stadium singing along. The open-air nature often creates a real summer feeling in July: sky above you, light shows against the stands and a stadium slowly transitioning from daylight to evening.
