Between the Sea and the Sky
Jimmy Nelson (1967) has spent his entire life photographing indigenous cultures, which led to the publication of his first book in 2013, ‘’Before They Pass Away" yielded. Five years later, "Homage to Humanity" (2018) followed. Nelson places the people in front of his camera on a pedestal, giving extraordinary and often almost forgotten communities a dignified and visible platform. His passionate portraits celebrate human diversity and beauty.
