Starting June 1, you can visit Reflex Art Gallery for the amazing photography of celebrity photographer David LaChapelle. The American photographer is internationally known for his exceptional talent and for his glossy photographs featuring celebrities in the most bizarre positions and themes. You will always find a message in the hyper-realistic work of the famous glamour photographer. The creative genius thus shares his concern for the world, controversy, joy and thoughts with his audience.

Act of Nature
The photo series Act of Nature sits at the intersection of earthly and transcendental, of a utopian fantasy and a dystopian reality, where humanity and nature live both in harmony and in conflict. Drawing on his immediate environment and his previous experience as a photographer of the stars, LaChapelle creates images that excite not only the visual senses, but also the mind and heart. In doing so, religion, spirituality and the art historical canon are an important source of inspiration.

LaChapelle's professional career began in the 1980s when he began showing his artwork in galleries in New York City. Andy Warhol saw his work and offered him his first job as a photographer at Interview Magazine. His photographs of celebrities in Interview garnered positive attention, and it wasn't long before he was photographing for a host of internationally renowned magazines. In addition to his work for magazines, LaChapelle also has some of the most memorable advertising campaigns and music videos to his credit.

Reflex Art Gallery began in 1986 as a gallery exhibiting work by modern masters and established contemporary artists, with a focus on photography, painting and sculpture. The name Reflex was inspired by the Cobra group's 1948 manifesto of the same name.
