Art Island brings together 34 leading galleries, including Galerie Wouter van Leeuwen, Galerie Ron Mandos, Caroline O'Breen and Galery Vriend van Bavink, who present work by their artists. The fort, which consists of three floors and has an extensive 585-meter corridor system, is the setting for this special exhibition. Visitors can enjoy contemporary art in a historic setting, making this art fair an experience like never before.
During Art Island, visitors can be inspired by the fort's underground passages and admire the latest work of both well-known and unknown artists. While traveling through time in the fort island's bunkers, you can also enjoy a snack and a drink, because Art Island will not lack that either.
For visitors who would like to take home a piece of art, Art Island offers the opportunity to purchase unique works of art. And even if you sail back without a purchase, you're sure to have had a unique experience. The combination of contemporary art and a historic setting makes Art Island an unforgettable destination for art lovers and adventurers.
