Zwartjes van 1883 is one of the oldest shoe stores in Amsterdam. The name has since become a household name in the city. It rather goes without saying that the store was founded in 1883 by Mr. Zwartjes. The store changed hands several times after that time, but the name always remained.
The extraordinary collection of Zwartjes
At Zwartjes you can find exclusive men's shoes. The collection consists mainly of European top brands, such as Santoni, Crockett & Jones and Magnanni. The collection changes quickly, so there is always a nice and new offer. At the Gelderlandplein 219 there is a store with women's shoes. Here brands like Arche, Paul Green, Peter Kaiser and Ugg are sold. Besides these brands Zwartjes has also added its own house brands: André, Zwartjes van 1883 and The Heritage Collection. Look for the complete current collection in the webshop. Special is that Zwartjes van 1883 also has shoe models which can be made on request in a different color or with a different material.
