Steel meets fire at Slope 7, where the smell of freshly grilled meat from the wood-fired kitchen fills the former shipyard canteen. In the industrial-chic setting overlooking the harbor, guests are welcomed not only by the sturdy decor, but also by the lively open kitchen where chef Carl Gast showcases his craft.

Daan Bonsen, Maverick Bouw, Jasper Goossen, and Tom Veldhuis, in collaboration with Apenkooi Events, run this unique spot in Amsterdam-North. Started in 2023, Helling 7 combines French, Dutch and European flavors with the robustness of barbecue and grilling. The restaurant's signature open kitchen with burning wood offers more than a dining experience; it is a spectacle of fire and craftsmanship.
