Amsterdam has a new grill restaurant. The famous chef Julius Jaspers recently opened in the former brasserie Witteveen in the Pijp area; Julius Bar&Grill. The Persian carpets and brasserie menu have given way to a large charcoal grill with modern, light and fresh barbecue dishes, meat and fish. The restaurant is a collaboration between Jaspers and Bert van der Leden of IQ-Creative, known for The Supperclub, Mazzo, Nevy and Envy, among others. The beautiful interior comes from Concrete Architects. In the middle of the establishment you will find a large, open kitchen with two grills, around which people can sit. The restaurant has a variety of seating areas, with the longest bench in the Netherlands as the eye-catcher.
