Bon Burger Bar is set up as a burger and wine bar, with a menu built very specifically around burgers. The basis: dry-aged beef, developed specifically for the bar. This is reflected in smash burgers with crispy edges as well as slightly thicker patties for those who want more bite. The buns are not standard buns but artisanal buns, custom-made for their burgers so that meat, sauce and bread stay in balance.
In addition to burgers, there are oysters on the menu. With that, Bon Burger Bar is clearly shifting toward bar food: you can start with a bowl of oysters and then order a burger, or just share some at the bar with a bottle of wine. The vegetables used in and alongside the burgers come from local sources as much as possible and are often organic. You can taste that in simple-looking combinations that still come out sharp as a result.

The wine list has a solid presence and attracts lovers of natural wine in particular. That slant does not come out of the blue. Bon Burger Bar grew out of previous pop-ups and kitchen takeovers associated with Bottleshop, a natural wine bar in town. You'll notice that background in the selection: it's all about carefully chosen bottles that will hold up well alongside a greasy smash burger or, conversely, a briny oyster.

The formula is apparently catching on, as a second location is planned: Bon Burger Noord, with an opening announced for April 2026 in North. This moves the concept of burgers, oysters and natural wine to another part of town, in line with the development of the food culture there.
