The Pizza Show serves pizza and entertainment in East Church

Amsterdam is getting a tasty spectacle at the end of March. On Friday 24 and Saturday 26 April, the Oosterkerk will transform into the setting for The Pizza Show: a traveling pop-up pizzeria that pushes the boundaries of classic dining. Do not expect a standard night out, but a total experience in which gastronomy, entertainment and experience come together.

With The Pizza Show, an innovative concept is blowing through the Amsterdam culinary scene. In a city where food increasingly goes hand in hand with experience, this international initiative fits seamlessly with the trend of ‘experience dining’ - a development we also see in hotspots where dining and entertainment merge .

During this two-day pop-up, some of the world's best pizzaioli take over the kitchen. Each chef brings their own signature cuisine, technique and culture, resulting in a carefully curated 5-course menu in which pizza takes center stage, but is reinterpreted each time. From sophisticated dough textures to surprising toppings, each course tells a different story.

What sets The Pizza Show apart is its theatrical approach. As the dishes are served, an evening of live entertainment unfolds. Think musical interludes, opera singing and dancing, which keep the atmosphere constantly moving. The result is a dynamic setting in which you not only taste, but also experience.

“At The Pizza Show, it's not just about what's on your plate, but the complete experience that stays with you long after the last slice is gone.”

The choice of ’t Kromhout as the location underscores the character of the concept. This industrial and historic place forms a raw but stylish backdrop that contrasts perfectly with the sophistication of the dishes. It makes the evening not only culinary interesting, but also visually and atmospherically layered.

The Pizza Show travels through cities such as Amsterdam and The Hague, deliberately choosing special locations that contribute to the overall experience. In doing so, it positions itself not just as a diner, but as an event - a night out that goes beyond the plate.

For pizza lovers, as well as those looking for an innovative night out in Amsterdam, this promises to be one of the most outstanding culinary events of the season.
