David Esekhile, better known as PAWSA, belongs to the absolute top within the international techhouse scene. With his recognizable sound - tight, rhythmic and irresistibly groovy - the London-based artist has built a loyal fan base worldwide. With releases on his own label Solid Grooves Records and appearances at leading festivals and clubs, he is known for sets that are both energetic and sophisticated.
During the festival PAWSA in the Park he gets all the space he needs to fully explore his musical signature. In an extended set, PAWSA takes the audience on a carefully constructed journey, in which deep bass lines, minimalist influences and subtle percussion alternate effortlessly. It is precisely this layering that makes his sets so beloved: a constant flow that continues to surprise without losing its groove.

The choice of the Gardens of West - located at 20 Bok de Korverweg - reinforces that experience. This green, open location on the edge of the city offers a relaxed and intimate atmosphere away from the hustle and bustle. Here there is room to be fully immersed in the music, while the natural surroundings add an extra dimension to the whole experience.
“A good set you don't just hear - you feel it, from the first beat to the last echo.”
Behind the event is SONA, an established name within the Amsterdam dance scene. With their concept SONA presents they create events in which music, light and visual elements merge seamlessly. The focus is not just on the lineup, but on the total experience - a philosophy that is increasingly prevalent within the city and is also evident at other progressive events .
With a strong artistic vision, a unique venue and a headlining act of international stature, it promises PAWSA in the Park become one of the most stylish electronic events of the summer.
