On Saturday, June 6, 2026, Festifest will go wild again at the NDSM Wharf in North. The festival has been around at least since 2014 and after all these years still knows exactly what it is: not a broad genre party, not a festival mash up, but a day full of house, disco and italo, with a lineup you won't find at every festival. Three stages, an industrial site and an atmosphere that is right from the first set to the last.
The big names this year are Danilo Plessow, better known as MCDE (Motor City Drum Ensemble), CC:DISCO! from Australia and British veteran Erol Alkan. CC:DISCO! and Erol Alkan will play a joint gig together, which in itself is a reason to come. MCDE delivers a headlining set that hardly needs explanation to fans of deep house. Plessow has been playing at the highest level for years and knows how to end a day right.

For decades, the NDSM wharf has been home to festivals, art projects and all sorts of things that don't fit into an ordinary venue. The former shipyard complex near Noorderlicht has that raw industrial look that's hard to recreate on a festival site. Three stages spread across the grounds means you can choose how to organize your day, without feeling like you're missing everything. Festifest deliberately presents itself as intimate and accessible, and that's true: it's not a mass event.

Presaletickets cost 59 euros. In addition to the summer edition, Festifest is also organizing a separate indoor event during the Amsterdam Dance Event in the fall, for those who want to experience the atmosphere more often. But for now: June 6, NDSM wharf, three stages. You know what you're getting, and that's enough.
