On November 1, R21 and Street Art Frankey will launch 'MuseGum N8′: a collaboration that transforms Frankey's playful world of gum into an immersive fine-dining experience. Together with chef and owner of R21 Orlando David, Frankey brings a concept that is colorful, unconventional and rooted in their hometown of Amsterdam.
It doesn't stop there: throughout November, R21 will continue to exhibit Frankey's artworks and serve the MuseGum dessert: a creative nod to the collaboration between art and gastronomy.
Street Art Frankey's work is known for his humorous and quirky approach to public spaces, weaving unexpected elements into the streetscape. Frankey's artwork often conjures a smile on the viewer's face. His previous projects, such as the iconic miniature statues on street signs in the streets of Amsterdam and the "polder plane," attest to his creative flair and play on the everyday urban environment.
Street Art Frankey's MuseGum event may give visitors a new, fresh look at familiar locations around town thanks to Frankey's surprising artistry. Visitors can expect a combination of art, surprise and perhaps even an interactive experience typical of his work.
"In a city where art and life converge, Frankey's vision is a refreshing perspective on how we perceive our environment."
MuseGum's presentation promises to be an interesting addition to the city's arts events. Given Frankey's reputation as a leading street artist, one can expect this event at R21 to intrigue and inspire locals and visitors alike. It is a unique opportunity to get in touch with art that knows no walls.
