Ridammerhoeve is an organic goat farm that stands out for its versatile offerings and the presence of young livestock such as lambs almost all year round. Since its establishment by Corine Riteco and Willem Dam in 1988, this farm in the Amsterdam Forest not only houses about 250 goats, but also chickens, pigs, cows, a horse and a pony. The birth of lambs fits seamlessly into the educational and interactive concept of the farm.
The farm is located in the middle of the nature of the Amsterdam Forest, allowing visitors not only to see animals, but also to experience a real agricultural environment within an urban setting. This provides a direct connection between city dwellers and the countryside. Lambs are visibly active and attract the attention of children in particular, reinforcing the learning process about animal care and natural life cycle.

In addition to young animals, Ridammerhoeve offers numerous educational activities. For example, you can attend workshops on making goat cheese, or participate in yoga with goats during weekends. Guided tours show how milking takes place and how the farm functions as an organic production site. On the grounds you will also find a maze designed by architect Adrian Fisher, which makes the visit even more varied.
In addition to young animals, Ridammerhoeve offers numerous educational activities.
On the terrace, the farm serves organic dishes based largely on its own produce, emphasizing quality and sustainability. The farm store sells fresh produce, including goat cheese and organic vegetables. Ridammerhoeve also regularly hosts events such as birthday parties, high teas and corporate outings, making it a place where education, nature experience and relaxation come together.
