In search of pure beauty, photographer Jimmy Nelson traveled the world for 3 years to the most remote places. From Papua New Guinea to Kazakhstan, from Ethiopia to Siberia. Inspired by photographer Edward S. Curtis who iconically captured North American Indians over a hundred years ago. Looking for tribes to photograph them in their unique beauty and cultural appearances. With the goal of leaving a visual reference work for future generations, because at the rate the world is changing, these cultures will eventually disappear.
