Inez van Lamsweerde & Vinoodh Matadin at The Ravestijn Gallery

Ravestijn Gallery proudly presents the 1st solo exhibition of the artist duo, Inez van Lamsweerde and Vinoodh Matadin, known worldwide as Inez & Vinoodh. An exhibition with no theme or specific period, but with a unique selection of 30 photographs from the past 30 years. 

The duo has been playing at the forefront of fashion photography for 30 years. The world's most famous fashion magazines, models and brands have associated with Inez & Vinoodh over the past 3 decades. The couple is among the most influential contemporary fashion photographers. Famed for their pioneering use of digital editing of their artwork in the early 1990s. Inez & Vinoodh used digital editing in a new way, adding an innovative, colorful and fantastic collection to the art canon that was praised by both the fashion and art worlds. Today 30 years later, Inez & Vinoodh still taunts the temporality of much modern fashion, trading trends for timeless photographs, some re-contextualized decades later, just as this exhibition plans to do.
