StrandOranje at Strandzuid: watching Orange at the waterfront

Watching World Cup soccer with two thousand people by the water, bitterballen in hand and a DJ keeping things warm. That's StrandOranje at Strandzuid, behind the RAI. The first two Orange matches are scheduled for June 14 and 20, 2026.

Strandzuid has been doing this for a while. Since the 2010 World Cup, the water event location behind the RAI has been the gathering place every tournament for anyone who wants to watch Orange with more than a few friends on the couch. Big screens outside by the water, a DJ who keeps the atmosphere going, and plenty of beer for halftime. Up to two thousand people can fit into the venue, and chances are it's full.

The first match scheduled is NL x Japan, Sunday, June 14, 2026 with kickoff at 22:00. A week later follows NL x Sweden, Saturday, June 20 with kickoff at 19:00. Those are the two guaranteed nights, but Unlimited Label, the organizing party behind Strandzuid, will add additional matches as soon as the Dutch advance in the tournament. Tickets cost €15 per match and can be purchased separately.

The Strandzuid site has several zones: The Restaurant, The Boat House, The Beach House, The Jetty Bar, The Beach Bar, The Playground and The Beach. Covered areas are also available, so in case of a shower, you don't have to go home. The screens are scattered around the outdoor area so you have good visibility from anywhere. Practical. Even more practical: the event goes on as usual if it rains.

Tickets cost €15 per match and can be purchased separately; full is full, so those who want to be sure of a spot buy in time.

Strandzuid is located directly behind RAI Amsterdam, on the border of the Rivierenbuurt and Beatrixpark. Amsterdam RAI Station is a five-minute walk away. The venue is easily accessible in several ways, including for those coming by car. Tickets can be purchased by name and per match. Full is full, so those who want to be sure of a spot buy on time. If Orange survives the group stage, more evenings will follow. But that depends on what happens on the field.
