You can't make a list of the best ice creams in Amsterdam without including this store the Jordaan. At Monte Pelmo, people almost always line up and it's worth the wait! They have a wide range of flavors, but personally we keep coming back for the strawberry cheesecake. Is that not quite your piece of cake? No problem, we're sure the other flavors won't disappoint either!

If Monte Pelmo is a little too far for you, see if Het Ijsboefje is more within walking distance. Here they serve Monte Pelmo's ice cream, so you can't go wrong! In addition, they also have 28 different kinds of milkshakes. Is there a better way to cool off?

Officially, van Soest is a chocolatier (and a very delicious one at that!) but when the temperatures rise, we flock to van Soest for the other sweet snacks they sell, as here they also serve great ice cream! And who says you can't order ice cream for now and some chocolates for later... Just don't forget to keep them cool! Heat and chocolate are not friends, so maybe eat them right away too, right?

From delicious sorbets (the strawberry flavor is low in calories too!) to scroppino's, ice shakes and iced coffees you will find it all here! If you really want to treat yourself we can really recommend the Kinder Bueno ice cream, yummy!

In the Pijp you will find Pasticceria, a store with such a lively window display that you have to take a look. When you do, you will see delicious pastries, macarons and the various ice cream flavors. When you enter the store, you can't leave without tasting at least one scoop of red velvet ice cream.

This is the best popsicle bar in town! Forget the boring, standard popsicles you can get almost anywhere. Here they sell real works of art.
