Pol's Potten is Erik Pol's interior and living brand, started in 1986. It began as a label for ceramics and glassware, but now the name stands for a much broader interior and lifestyle range. Over the years, furniture, lighting and all kinds of decorative objects have been added. The in-house store serves as brand store and flagship, where you can see all these different lines together.
The collection is all about playful, outspoken and quirky designs. This is reflected in the brand's origins: colorful ceramic pieces and striking glassware. This base is still important, but is complemented by larger interior pieces such as chairs, tables and lamps. So you not only walk past vases and bowls, but also past complete settings with furniture and lighting that are coordinated.

In the Pols Potten brand store on Westerstraat in the Jordaan, the emphasis is on showing the collections as a whole. Furniture, lamps and smaller accessories are mixed together, so you can clearly see how the designs relate to each other. This makes the space more than just a store; it is a kind of three-dimensional catalog of the brand. New lines are brought together here with more classic pieces from the range, so you can follow the label's development over the years.

In terms of content, Pol's Potten also seeks collaboration. A striking example is the collaboration with the Rijksmuseum, for which co-branded design collections have been developed. In these projects, the formal and visual language of the museum is linked to the style of Pol's Potten. This gives the interior brand a clear link to Dutch art and heritage, while still operating within its own distinct design language.
