During PAFF, film lovers can drop into the plush of various arthouse cinemas in Amsterdam for 4 days for a wide range of new films from home and abroad. Many of the films have been or will be selected at the major film festivals of Berlin, Cannes, Venice and Toronto. The films can be seen at EYE, Cinecenter, StudioK, FC Hyena and Het Ketelhuis. In addition to the main film premieres of the new season, there will be talk shows, lectures and live music at various locations.
Opening film
PAFF opens the festival with The Lovers, a Dutch feel-good film starring Jeroen Krabbé, Beppie Melissen, Hadewych Minis, Guy Clemens, Theo Maassen, Sanne Samina Hanssen and Jelka van Houten, among others.
