Nido near Oosterpark: Cocktails and Mediterranean bites

The sun shines on the green Oosterpark while crystal clear cocktails are shaken in an intimate space with warm wood tones and soft colors.

The cocktail bar Nido is an initiative of Luke Jackson and the Orchid House team. Debuting in early December 2025, the spot offers a Spanish-Mediterranean concept focused on relaxed elegance. The establishment is tastefully decorated with warm earth tones that enhance the sunny Mediterranean atmosphere. From Nido you have a 360° panoramic view of the Oosterpark, which is a striking feature of the bar.

The cocktail menu consists of carefully curated drinks with inspiration from citrus fruits and Balearic spices. Signature cocktails like Big Bang, Horchata, Essencia Del Mercado and Ma Sherry are served, often paired with Spanish and Mediterranean bites. There is also a house-made Nido Vermouth. The concept makes room for guest bartenders who occasionally rotate shifts, providing regular variety. In spring and summer, the program expands to include live music on the rooftop terrace, set to open in spring 2026.
