The concept of The Amsterdam Alliance is simple: competing clubs and collectives from the Amsterdam night share one area on Liberation Day, each with their own stage and sound. As a result, the festival feels like a collection of mini-parties within one big celebration of freedom - with the stadium as the backdrop and multiple areas around the rings.
Well-known recurring hostings include Chicago Social Club, Club NYX x Disco Dolly, Het Mokums Paradijs and Vondeldisco. Each club brings its own programming: one stage plays house and disco, another urban and hits, a third deeper techno. You walk from one sound to another in a few minutes.

The lineup for 2026
The full artist lineup for 2026 has not been officially released at the time of writing. Previous editions have featured such names as Benny Rodrigues, Dam Swindle, Paramida, Traumer, ANOTR, Jengi, Ronnie Flex and Broederliefde - a mix that accurately reflects the breadth of the festival. As soon as the 2026 lineup is known, this article will be updated.
Five stages, from daylight until 11 p.m. - it's not a festival where you wait for one act and then leave. It's a day where you move from stage to stage and don't stop until the venue closes.
Location and atmosphere
With around 25,000 visitors, Het Amsterdams Verbond is one of the larger 5 May festivals in Amsterdam without feeling like a massively anonymous venue. The Olympic Stadium gives the day a clear structure: the stages are around and inside the stadium, the grounds are compact enough to reach everything without getting lost.
Tickets were offered in pre-sale immediately after the previous edition and went out the door in the first round of tickets at lightning speed. Those who do not yet have a ticket, check Ticketswap - regular sales are practically sold out.
