Taste Pampus: A weekend of conviviality and performing arts
Taste Pampus is back and more vibrant than ever! The most energetic family festival on Fort Island Pampus is back with an array of activities for young and old. From music to energetic experiments in the Pampus Lab, from delicious island food and drinks to a carpenter's village and much more. This year, Proef Pampus is all about energy, because Pampus is completely fossil-free!
The festival offers something for everyone. The museum fort is open for exploration with expert guides providing guided tours. You can also participate in the virtual balloon ride "The Secret Weapon of Amsterdam," which runs overtime with its mesmerizing views. But the real energy can be found outside, on the green grass ring of Pampus, where a plethora of activities, sights and experiences await you.

As for food and drink, you can expect a taste explosion. There is an extensive selection of specialty beers, various food stands and a terrace with the most beautiful view in the Netherlands. For the kids there is a special area where they can carpenter to their heart's content, while they can also enjoy Pampus Trials and the energy lab. In short, a fun day out for the whole family!
There's also plenty to do and experience inside the fort. Learn all about soldier life with interactive games in the Verhaal van Pampus (Story of Pampus), go exploring with a guide or search for hidden letters during the black light scavenger hunt. And don't forget to fly over the Defence Line of Amsterdam in a real hot air balloon.
