Pop Arts Festival showcases puppet theater in all its glory
Fun! The Pop Arts Festival is starting up again. From April 16 to 21, it's time again for the international festival centered on puppet and object theater. During the tenth edition, this art discipline will again be mixed with dance, circus, mime, imaginary art, film and music.
During the Pop Arts Festival, Theater Bellevue, De Krakeling, De Brakke Grond and Feikes Huis present their best puppet theater. Discover the worlds of puppets who, like humans, are searching for happiness, discovering feelings and experiencing adventure. An outing where fantasy is central.
The 2019 edition is a tribute to us humans and all that comprises us as a species, and our position in our environment. The performances of the puppets stimulate your mind and make you look differently at how we interact with animals, nature and the seasons. The interesting mix of dance, circus, mime, imaginary art, film and music make Pop Arts Festival so special, for young and old.
