Hungry Eye Gallery is a well-known name in the Amsterdam art world, especially in the field of contemporary photography. Originally founded in 2004 as Kahmann Gallery by Roy Kahmann, the gallery evolved and moved to Amsterdam Noord. The gallery focuses on talent development and organizes six to seven carefully selected group exhibitions annually. This year's focus is the group exhibition "A Parade of Wonder," on view from Feb. 12 to 14, 2026.

This exhibition brings together several photographers whose work explores themes of spectacle, illusion and encounter. They are images that invite the viewer to consider what is reality and appearance. The exhibition shows how photography can be used to question and cross those boundaries. The collaboration of multiple artists creates a multifaceted view of these themes, with each work offering its own take on the subject.
