Starting March 24, 2026, Moco Museum Amsterdam will open its doors for an exclusive exhibition that will be on view for one month only. At Johan Cruyff: A Way of Thinking focuses on Cruyff's legacy: his ideas on leadership, creativity, talent development and mentality. It is an exhibition that goes beyond sports and touches on culture, education and social impact.
Visitors will get a rare glimpse into Cruyff's personal life through unique memorabilia, shared directly by and in collaboration with the Cruyff family. From personal objects to never-before-seen pieces, each item tells a story about his philosophy and way of thinking. The official opening will be performed by his son, Jordi Cruyff, which gives the exhibition an extra personal touch.

Cruyff was more than a brilliant soccer player. He was a thinker who redefined the game and developed his own vision that is still applied today in top sports, business and education. His famous statements have since become cultural heritage. In the Moco Museum, this way of thinking is translated into an inspiring total experience in which image, object and story come together.
"I have not always been understood. As a soccer player, as a coach and also for what I did after that. Then again, Rembrandt and Van Gogh weren't understood either. That's what you learn: people keep bothering you until you're a genius." - Johan Cruijff.
The choice of the Moco Museum in Amsterdam is fitting. The museum is known for exhibitions that honor iconic figures and innovative thinkers. With this exhibition, the museum once again underscores its position as a cultural hotspot in the city.
For lovers of Johan Cruyff, art, culture and inspiration, this is a unique opportunity to experience his legacy up close.
